Back to Leigh Creek - 1981

 

Nic Klaassen’s book, “Leigh Creek - an oasis in the desert”, records that after transition to the new town started in 1980 many ex-Leigh Creekers wanted to visit their town before it disappeared altogether, meet old friends and acquaintances and relive some of their fond memories of the good old days.

 2018 Reunion

The 2018 reunion was a great night for the old Leigh Creekers who gathered at Flinders Park Football Club to catch up and share old memories. Friendships were renewed, some hadn’t seen each other for decades and the time flew as the conversations buzzed.
